Articles

We have written several studies on a wide variety of topics and will continue to do so. Please write to or call us if you have any questions, suggestions, edits, typos, or anything of that sort! Also, if you have any objections to anything written in these articles, we urge you to contact us at info@messianicfellowship.ca. Please be sure to keep your critique constructive, loving, clear, logical, and, ultimately, based completely on Scripture! We will be sure to respond to you either with our own questions or with our explanations and Scriptural references to challenge these ideas with a constructive objective. At the end of the day, our ideas are just ideas and Scripture is the bottom line!

 Modesty and Decency

A brief study on the pressing but controversial issue of modesty (drawing moderate attention to oneself) and decency (covering oneself properly).

 Shabbat Observance

As one of the identifying observances of Messianic believers and as the important "sign of the covenant", Shabbat has been the source of much debate and varied interpretations. This study examines Scripture thoroughly to eliminate much of the ambiguity that has plagued observance of this Holy Day.

 Names of Elohim

After rejecting the paganism of many traditional practices, Messianic believers often begin to wonder how much paganism has pervaded the English terms for the Names of Elohim (God).

 Biblical Family

In a society of self-satisfaction, self-gratification, and other selfishness, the priorities of a family and the selflessness they require have been discarded in many ways. This article elucidates these pervasive issues and studies Scripture to uncover some answers to these problems.

 Purpose of Assembling

In a time when congregations have become commercialized and the role of the congregant individualized, many believers are not sure what to do with respect to assembling with other believers.

 Return to Community

Ever since the talmidim established congregations throughout the Middle East and Europe, the idea of a congregation has been evolving, sometimes for better but more often for worse. This article examines the Word to see what it says about what a congregation should be and what it should do.
